I have been a word nerd and reader my entire life. Since childhood, I have read everything and anything I can get my hands on.
I believe the words we put out into the world are a reflection of ourselves. Errors and mistakes are not the reflections we want to present to the outside world.
It would be my pleasure to proofread your writing and ensure that what you put out into the world is the most polished version of what you want to express. Whatever format you use to describe yourself–be it a blog post, a magazine article, a website, or even a book–I will take the time to ensure what you publish is perfect.
I spent fifteen years in the newspaper industry as a reporter and editor. Most of my work focused on crime and politics in Colorado. After quitting the industry, I moved into retail and customer service. But my love of the written word has never subsided. I have an eye for detail and the patience to find even minute errors.
In early 2023, I completed a Master of Fine Arts degree at Regis University in Denver, Colo. During that program, I assisted several fellow students with proofreading their works of fiction. I would love to continue to work with fiction authors.
